Blower (Leaf Blower) Usage and Operating Instructions
I. Main Applications
1. Garden and Courtyard Cleaning
Clearing fallen leaves, dead branches, weeds, lawn debris, and pruned twigs, quickly organizing courtyards, parks, and green belts in residential areas.
2. Road and Ground Cleaning
Blowing away dust, sand, garbage, and fallen leaves on roads, sidewalks, parking lots, and factory grounds, replacing manual brooms with high efficiency.
3. Agricultural and Orchard Use
Blowing off residual leaves and debris after fruit harvest in orchards; cleaning up pruned branches and leaves; clearing weeds and debris in greenhouses and fields.
4. Construction Site Cleaning
Removing dust, wood chips, cement debris, and construction waste after construction; cleaning dust from the surfaces of machines and equipment.
5. Emergency Snow Removal
Blowing away thin and floating snow in small courtyards, doorways, and paths in winter, replacing shoveling with ease and convenience.
6. Other Uses
Cleaning leaves and debris from eaves, window sills, and rooftops; cleaning dust from the heat sinks and air filters of agricultural machinery, chainsaws, and ground drills.
II. Common Types
1. Backpack Style: High power, large air volume and pressure, suitable for professional garden, construction site, and large-scale cleaning, with no fatigue during long-term operation.
2. Handheld Style: Lightweight and compact, suitable for small home gardens and small-scale leaf cleaning, and corner cleaning.
3. Lithium Battery-Powered: No oil fumes, low noise, most suitable for home and residential areas, no need for oil.
4. Gasoline Two-Stroke: Strong power, unlimited operation time, commonly used in professional engineering, forest farms, and orchards.
III. Correct Usage Methods
1. Preparations Before Startup
Wear protective gear: dust mask, goggles, ear muffs, long-sleeved clothing and pants to prevent dust from entering the eyes and lungs.
Check the machine: ensure the casing and air ducts are undamaged, and screws are tightened; for gasoline models, check the oil, fuel, and fuel lines.
Choose the working environment: avoid people, children, and pets; do not blow dust directly at people, windows, doors, or vehicles.
2. Startup Operation
Lithium battery models: install the battery, lock the safety lock, and press the switch to start, then adjust the air volume.
Gasoline models: place the machine flat, turn on the power, open the air valve, press the oil pump, and pull the starter rope; after starting, let it idle for a moment to warm up, then connect the air duct.
3. Blowing and Cleaning Techniques
Keep the air outlet about 10-20 cm from the ground and blow at a 45-degree angle downward to prevent dust and leaves from scattering.
Blow in one direction to gather leaves and debris into a pile for easy collection.
Do not aim the air outlet directly at walls, glass, or young plants to avoid damaging them or peeling off the wall.
For high places with leaves: hold the air duct at an angle to blow sideways, do not blow directly at the roof eaves to prevent debris from falling and injuring people.
4. Shutdown and Storage
Turn off the switch first, and only put down the machine after it has completely stopped.
Clean the air duct and filter screen of dust, and wipe the machine body.
For gasoline models, drain the fuel if not in use for a long time, and store in a cool and dry place.
IV. Safety Precautions
Do not blow directly at people, animals, vehicles, or glass doors and windows.
Do not use for a long time in enclosed rooms or corridors, as gasoline models produce harmful exhaust.
Stay away from rocks and hard objects during operation to prevent them from being blown up and hitting people.
Minors, those under the influence of alcohol, or in a fatigued state are prohibited from operating.
Do not run at full load and high speed for a long time to avoid burning the machine and excessive wear.
V. Daily Simple Maintenance
Clean the air filter and intake filter after each use; clogging will cause loss of power and increased fuel consumption.
Check for cracks in the air duct and whether the clips are loose.
For gasoline models, regularly check the spark plugs and oil ratio, and add oil according to the two-stroke ratio, do not mix with pure gasoline.
