Maintenance Matters for Four-Cylinder Gasoline Engines
1. Four-stroke gasoline engine fuel is clean gasoline (above 90 grade), and the lubricating oil is SAE 30 four-stroke engine oil. The new engine should idle for 2 hours during the warm-up period, and the engine oil should be replaced after it is hot before it can be used normally. During normal use, the engine oil should be changed approximately once every 30 hours. Check the oil level before and after each use.
2. When a four-stroke air-cooled gasoline engine is working continuously, the temperature of the crankcase should not exceed 90 degrees. If it gets too hot, stop the engine for 15 to 20 minutes before continuing to work. Fuel should be added when the engine is cold. The cold engine should be run at low speed for 3 minutes before being used normally. Do not use the maximum throttle when not mowing grass.
3. Do not run the gasoline engine at excessive speed. Except in emergency situations, stop the engine at a low speed.
4. The engine oil should be correct, genuine, and clean. The gasoline should be clean and fresh.
5. Non-professionals are not allowed to adjust the carburetor. If adjustment is necessary, generally, the oil needle should be gently tightened clockwise and then loosened counterclockwise by 1.5 to 1.75 turns.
6. The air filter element should be checked frequently. Clean it with soap water or replace it regularly. 7. After the gasoline engine has run for 100 to 300 hours, clear the carbon deposits once by using wood chips or bamboo chips. Remove the cylinder head, clean the cylinder, cylinder head, piston, valves, etc. for the accumulated carbon deposits. The carbon deposits must not enter the cylinder bore and valve seat.
8. Keep the gasoline engine, especially the radiator fins, clean.
9. When refueling, inspecting, repairing, or maintaining, remove the spark plug cap, do not smoke, and stay away from open flames.
10. Do not operate indoors. During machine operation, leave irrelevant personnel more than 15 meters away from the machine when the operator is present.
11. Before and after each use of the machine, check the tightness of the bolts in the working parts and other parts.
12.Those with clutches: Before the clutches are exposed (that is, before the machine is properly installed), the gasoline engine must not be started.
13. For other lubrication parts of the machine, add lubricating oil or grease according to the requirements and at regular intervals as specified in the instructions.
