Precautions Before Operating a Brush Cutter

1. Check and Tighten All Components

Follow the operation manual strictly and ensure all components are securely connected. The most important part is the reverse thread nut of the working blade, which must be tightened thoroughly to prevent loosening or falling off during operation. Safety first!

2. Accurate Fuel Filling

Check the remaining fuel first. If it's insufficient, top it up immediately. It's crucial not to add the wrong type of fuel.

- For two-stroke lawn mowers: Add a mixture of gasoline and two-stroke engine oil in a 25:1 ratio.

- For four-stroke lawn mowers: Fill the fuel tank with pure gasoline and the oil tank with four-stroke engine oil separately.

It's best to use lawn mower-specific engine oil, which is more friendly to the engine.

3. Preheat the Gasoline Engine

After starting the gasoline engine, let it run at low speed or idle for 3-5 minutes to allow the engine to warm up fully. Do not start working immediately. Proper preheating can significantly extend the lifespan of the gasoline engine.

4. Adjust the Body and Posture

Adjust the length of the shoulder straps according to your height. Place the lawn mower on the right side of your body and stand straight without bending over.

For side-mounted models, hold the left and right handles. For back-mounted models, hold the front and rear handles. Tilt the control lever forward, and keep the blade parallel to the ground, about 3-5 cm above it. This ensures balance and better control during operation.

Attention to details can double the efficiency and make the machine more durable.
