Reasons for and solutions to gasoline engine failures

1. Severe vibration

This phenomenon may be caused by the following reasons:

(1) The blade is bent or loses its dynamic balance due to wear;

(2) The crankshaft is bent due to impact;

(3) The coupling is damaged, causing the blade to rotate relative to the crankshaft, resulting in imbalance;

(4) The engine fixing screws are loose;

(5) The engine base is damaged;

(6) The blade strikes a hard object.

2. Poor grass collection effect

(1) The grass collection bag has not been cleaned for a long time, resulting in dirtiness and poor air permeability, causing poor grass collection;

(2) The grass discharge port has not been cleaned for a long time, and accumulated grass blocks the discharge port, causing poor grass discharge;

(3) The blade is worn out excessively, and the blade wings fail to achieve the grass collection effect;

(4) The engine is worn out, with excessive power loss, and the blade rotates at a low speed, resulting in poor grass collection effect;

(5) The grass collection area is not flat, causing poor grass discharge.

3. Unstable engine operation

The accelerator is at the maximum position, and the air intake valve is open; the spark plug wire is loose; water and dirt enter the fuel system; the air filter is too dirty; the carburetor is improperly adjusted; the engine fixing screws are loose; the engine crankshaft is bent. Solution: Lower the accelerator switch; Tighten the spark plug outer wire; Clean the fuel tank and refill with fuel; Clean the air filter or replace the filter element; Re-adjust the carburetor; Check the engine fixing screws after turning off the engine; Adjust the crankshaft or replace the new shaft.

4. Engine cannot shut off

The installation position of the accelerator line on the engine is appropriate; The accelerator line is broken; The accelerator is not sensitive; The shutdown line cannot be contacted. Solution: Reinstall the accelerator line; Replace the new accelerator line; Add a small amount of engine oil to the accelerator operation position; Check or replace the shutdown line.
