Safety operation and maintenance matters for rotary tillers 

The micro-tilter is characterized by its light weight, small size and simple structure. It is widely applicable in plains, mountainous areas, and hilly regions. The emergence of the micro-tilter has replaced the traditional ox plowing method, improving the working efficiency of farmers. Understanding the operation and maintenance precautions of the micro-tilter is of great significance in increasing the service life of agricultural machinery and enriching the knowledge of operators. 

When conducting safe operations and maintenance, the following points should be noted: 

1. Before operating, one must first read the manual thoroughly and strictly follow the requirements stated in the manual for running-in and maintenance. Secondly, one must undergo operation training before starting the work.

2. Before operation, check whether all the connecting fasteners of the machine are tightened. Remember to tighten the bolts (including the walking box part, pressure box part, engine support connection part, engine muffler, air filter, etc.) firmly.

3. Place the machine head and body in a horizontal position and check if the engine oil and gear oil have been added adequately. Do not add too much or too little; check for any oil leakage (engine oil, diesel, gear oil). Only then can it be used. At the same time, remember that the fuel tank must not be filled with gasoline; it must be filled with No. 0 diesel.

4. Before operation, add 0.1L of CC engine oil at the bottom of the air filter. Also, be careful not to operate the micro-tiler after drinking alcohol. New machines must not perform heavy-load operations. During field transfer, replace the tires. Especially when operating on slopes, prevent the micro-tiler from tipping over and injuring people.

5. When starting, make sure there is no one in front, behind, left or right. Only then can it be started to avoid injuring people. When the engine does not start well in winter, pour boiling water onto the oil nozzle or inject 0.5-1.0ml of CC engine oil into the combustion chamber to start normally.

6. During operation, when changing people or having a conversation, or when clearing weeds from the blade frame, do not hold the clutch tightly while shifting gears. Always make sure the machine does not move forward when in neutral or when the engine is off.

7. When installing the blade frame on the micro-tiler, do not walk on cement roads or stone slabs. During operation, try to avoid colliding with hard objects such as large stones to prevent damage to the blades. If there is any abnormal noise from the engine or pressure box, pressure box, stop the machine for inspection and troubleshooting before operating.

8. During operation, if the operator is facing less than 1 meter away from the embankment, do not use the reverse gear.

9. After the new engine has been operating normally for 20 acres of land, it must be warmed up and the engine oil and gear oil must be replaced. Otherwise, the residual engine oil in the engine body cannot be completely drained. Replace the second time after 80-100 acres. After continuous operation for 3-5 days, clean the air filter element and check, adjust the valve clearance, and replace the piston ring, valve and connecting rod bearing if necessary.

10. After each season of operation, pay attention to removing dirt, weeds, oil stains and other adhering substances from the micro-tiler. Also, check and tighten all the fastening bolts and screws, and cover them with a film or other things to prevent rusting from sun exposure and rain.

11. Minors and those who have not received training and mastered the operation rules of the micro-tiler are not allowed to operate.

Operating precautions: When starting the engine, place the gear shift lever in the neutral position; when shifting gears, disconnect the clutch first; when using the reverse gear, place the gear shift lever in the neutral position; do not cool the diesel engine by watering; after farming, remove the dirt, weeds, oil stains and other adhering substances from the micro-tiler, keep the whole machine clean; during operation, do not use the reverse gear.
