9. The engine of the lawn mower is difficult to start. There could be the following reasons: 

a. No gasoline - Solution: Add gasoline. 

b. Spark plug wiring detachment - Solution: Reconnect the spark plug wire. 

c. The accelerator switch is not in the starting position - Solution: Adjust the accelerator switch to the maximum position. 

d. Oil passage blocked - Solution: Clean the oil passage. 

e. Ignition misalignment - Solution: Adjust the ignition timing. 

f. Spark plug damage - Solution: Replace with a new spark plug. 

g. Using poor-quality or deteriorated gasoline - Solution: Choose the correct grade of gasoline.
