 The use and maintenance of a chainsaw 

The chainsaw is a two-stroke engine. During use, attention should be paid to aspects such as power and cutting tools to ensure the normal operation of the machine: The engine is a two-stroke engine. The fuel used is a mixture of gasoline and engine oil, with the ratio of the mixture being: Wind-cooled two-stroke special engine oil (JASOFC grade): Gasoline = 1:50 (Wind-cooled two-stroke special engine oil (JASOFB grade): Gasoline = 1:25). 

The gasoline should be of grade 90 or above, and the engine oil should be air-cooled two-stroke oil, symbolized as 2T. It is essential to use *special engine oil. Four-stroke oil or water-cooled two-stroke oil must not be used. It is recommended that for new machines, a ratio of 1:40 (JASOFB grade engine oil 1:20) should be used for the first 30 hours, and then a normal ratio of 1:50 (JASOFB grade engine oil 1:25) should be used after 30 hours. It is strictly forbidden to exceed a ratio of 1:50 (ordinary engine oil 1:25), otherwise, the low concentration will cause the cylinder of the machine to be pulled. 

Please strictly follow the oiling instructions provided with the machine and do not arbitrarily mix the oil. Mix the oil immediately before use and do not reuse mixed oil that has been stored for a long time. When working, start the machine at a low speed for a few minutes to check the lubrication of the saw chain oil, forming an oil line. Then continue working. When the machine is in operation, use the high-speed setting. After each box of oil is used, rest for 10 minutes. After each work session, clean the loose gaskets on the machine to ensure proper heat dissipation. For spark plugs, remove them every 25 hours and use a wire brush to clean the dust on the electrodes. Adjust the electrode gap to 0.6-0.7mm for optimal performance. For the air filter, remove dust every 25 hours. If the dust is heavy, do it more frequently. To clean the foam filter, use gasoline or cleaning solution and water for washing. Squeeze it dry, then soak it in oil and squeeze out the excess oil before installing it. 

Every 50 hours of use, remove the muffler and clean the carbon deposits on the exhaust port and the muffler outlet. The fuel filter (oil suction head) should be cleaned of impurities every 25 hours. 

When using the new machine for cutting tools, pay attention to the tightness of the saw chain. Make sure it can rotate by pulling the saw chain with your hand. It is preferable for the guide teeth to be parallel to the guide plate. After using it for a few minutes, remember to tighten the saw chain again. 

Before conducting safe operations, no one or any animals are allowed to move within a 20-meter radius around the area. It is necessary to check if there are any angle irons, stones or other debris on the grassland, and remove the debris. 

When storing, the engine must be cleaned, the mixed fuel must be drained, and the fuel in the carburetor must be burned out; the spark plugs must be removed, 1-2 ml of two-stroke engine oil must be added to the cylinders, and the starter must be pulled 2-3 times, and then the spark plugs must be reinstalled.
