Unveiling the Secrets of Maintaining a Telescopic Pole Saw to Extend Its Lifespan
90% of people just throw away the high-altitude saw after using it!
They also don't know how to maintain it.
Even if the machine is expensive, it won't last long when used, and it is prone to malfunctions.
So how can we make good use of the machine?
First: Maintenance of the air filter element: After each use, it is necessary to clean the dust on the air filter. If it is a sponge filter, it should be washed with detergent and dried before reinstalling!
If it is a paper filter, just gently tap off the surface dust. Replace it every 100 hours; otherwise, it will affect the machine's power and lifespan.
Second: Spark plug maintenance: Every 50 hours of operation, check for carbon deposits and the gap size. If there is excessive carbon buildup, use a bamboo stick or similar tool to gently scrape off the carbon.
If you find that the gap between the side electrode and the positive electrode of the spark plug is too large, it should be adjusted in time. If the carbon deposits cannot be removed, or if the plug has been in use for more than 200 hours, you can directly replace it with a new one!
Third: Maintenance of gearbox and hard shaft: Every 50 hours of operation, 20ml of high-temperature grease should be added to the gearbox!
The main shaft should also be coated with 20ml of high-temperature butter to ensure proper lubrication. This will make the machine run more smoothly and reduce wear and tear!
Fourth, chain maintenance: If the chain is too loose, adjust it promptly; if it is not sharp, file it down; after each use of the fuel tank, remember to add one 260ML bottle of chain oil to prevent damage to the chain due to dry grinding!
Finally, we would like to emphasize that the fuel should also be of pure and fresh grade 92 or higher.
Never use old engine oil! The selection standard for engine oil: 1:50 for garden machinery-specific oil.
