The reasons for insufficient power and lack of energy in the earth aguer and the troubleshooting methods

I. External & Foundation Inspection (Priority, Simple Operation)

Air filter clogging

Dust and dirt blocking the filter net, resulting in insufficient air intake, poor combustion, and decreased power.

Solution: Remove the filter, clean with a brush or wash with water and dry, replace if damaged.

Fuel problem

Fuel deterioration, incorrect grade, insufficient quantity; for two-stroke engines, incorrect gasoline-to-机油 ratio (excessive oil will dampen power).

Solution: Drain the old fuel, add fresh and compliant fuel, mix the oil according to the model's standard ratio.

Throttle mechanism failure

Throttle cable stuck, insufficient stroke, unable to reach the maximum speed; handle switch malfunction.

Solution: Check if the cable is bent or stuck, lubricate or adjust the cable to ensure the throttle is fully open.

Drill bit / drill rod jamming, foreign matter entanglement

Soil, grass roots, stones entangle the drill rod / blade, causing a sudden increase in load, manifested as slow rotation and inability to drill.

Solution: Stop the drill, cut off the power supply, clear the entangled debris, check if the drill bit is deformed or chipped.

II. Oil circuit faults (Common Problems)

Carburetor clogging / poor atomization

Oil holes and quantity holes are clogged with oil sludge, resulting in insufficient fuel supply, low power at high speed, inability to increase speed, and possible engine stalling.

Solution: Disassemble and clean the carburetor, adjust the fuel needle; severe clogging requires replacement.

Fuel filter and oil pipe faults

Fuel tank filter clogging, aging and cracking of the oil pipe allowing air to enter, pipe deformation and squeezing, intermittent fuel supply.

Solution: Replace the filter and aged oil pipe, straighten the pipe to avoid pressure.

III. Ignition system problems

Spark plugs abnormal

Carbon buildup, electrode erosion, incorrect gap, weak ignition, insufficient combustion, weak power, idle shaking.

Solution: Clean the carbon buildup, adjust the electrode gap; if old or weak ignition, replace immediately.

High-voltage pack failure

Insufficient ignition voltage, significant decrease in power under heavy load, difficulty in accelerating.

Solution: Test the ignition intensity, replace the high-voltage pack if faulty.

IV. Exhaust system blockage

Exhaust muffler and exhaust port clogged with carbon deposits, unable to discharge exhaust gas, engine "lacks power", unable to increase speed.

Solution: Remove the muffler and clean the internal carbon deposits, replace if severely clogged.

V. Internal engine faults (Severe Wear)

Insufficient cylinder compression

Piston, piston ring, cylinder wear, slight scoring, decreased compression ratio, significant power loss, often accompanied by blue smoke and abnormal noise.

Causes: Long-term lack of air filter replacement, insufficient oil, prolonged overloading operation.

Solution: Disassemble and repair, replace piston rings and cylinder components.

Clutch slipping

Centrifugal blockage, loose spring, engine rotates fast but drill rod rotates slowly, weak drilling force, normal idle, slows down under force.

Solution: Remove the clutch housing, replace the clutch block and spring.

VI. Transmission & Mechanical Structure Problems

Gearbox failure

Gear wear, bearing damage, insufficient gear oil, high transmission resistance, power loss under load, accompanied by abnormal noise and overheating.

Solution: Check the oil level of the gearbox, replenish / replace the gear oil; gears and bearings damaged require disassembly and replacement of components.

Simple self-check steps (Beginners follow in order)

Clean the air filter and drill rod debris → 2. Replace with new fuel, check the fuel mixture ratio → 3. Check the throttle stroke → 4. Inspect the spark plugs

If the above steps are ineffective, clean the carburetor, clean the muffler; finally, check the clutch, gearbox and internal engine.
