Operating Instructions for BRUSH CUTTER
I. Whole Machine Inspection
Check the blades: Are there any cracks, deformations, or looseness? Are the screws properly tightened?
For fuel-powered models: Check the oil and gasoline levels, ensuring no leakage; the air filter is clean; the clutch, accelerator, and brake are sensitive.
For electric / lithium battery models: Check the power cord for no damage, the battery is fully charged, and the switch is normal.
The tires, chassis, protective cover, and guard plates are in good condition. Protective devices must not be removed privately.
If the grass is too high, cut it in sections and in stages instead of cutting too deeply at once; do not mow the grass immediately after rain or when it is wet from dew, as it is prone to slipping, blocking the grass, and damaging the machine.
II. Start-up Operation Precautions
The machine must be started on a flat and open ground, with the blade off the ground and no one nearby.
For fuel-powered machines in cold condition, idle for 2-3 minutes before starting at full power; do not start at full power immediately.
Keep a distance of 5 meters around when starting, especially keep children and pets away.
Do not start the fuel-powered lawn mower in a closed garage or indoors to prevent poisoning from exhaust fumes.
III. Safety Norms During Operation
Move at a constant and slow speed; do not run fast or make sharp turns to prevent overturning or slipping.
For push-type models, do not walk sideways on steep slopes; operate straight up and down on slopes; stop immediately if the slope is too large.
Do not blow grass debris towards people, doors, vehicles, flower beds; slow down when near the roadside or fence.
Stop immediately if encountering tree roots or stones; do not forcefully push or roll.
Do not reach near the running blades.
Cleaning of tangled grass, stuck grass, and inspection of the blades must be done after turning off the engine and completely stopping it before operating.
In case of severe vibration, abnormal noise, black smoke emission, sudden drop in power, oil or electricity leakage, immediately stop the machine and turn off the engine. Check the fault and use it again only after repair. Do not operate with a faulty machine.
High-temperature operation
For continuous operation in summer for 40 minutes, stop and rest for 10 minutes to avoid overheating of the engine and heatstroke of the operator.
IV. Fueling and Fuel Safety (Key for Gasoline Models)
It is necessary to turn off the engine and cool down before refueling. Do not open the fuel cap while the engine is running.
Keep away from open flames, cigarette butts, static electricity, and do not fuel in direct sunlight.
Use the appropriate grade of gasoline and strictly follow the proportion of two-stroke engine oil. Do not mix or add non-standard oil.
Immediately wipe away spilled fuel and confirm there is no leakage before starting.
V. Maintenance and Storage After Operation
After the machine stops, wait until the blade is completely still before cleaning the body and chassis of tangled grass.
Use a brush to clean grass debris and dust. Do not directly spray high-pressure water at the engine and motor circuit parts.
Regular maintenance: Replace engine oil, clean air filter, grind or replace dull blades, and tighten all vehicle screws.
Store in a dry and ventilated room, avoiding rain and direct sunlight; for long-term storage, empty the fuel and remove the battery for separate storage.
Place it out of the reach of children to avoid accidental activation and potential danger.
VI. General Prohibited Items
Do not remove the original factory protective cover, guard plate, or safety switch.
Do not carry people, modify the blades, or privately increase the rotational speed.
Do not operate in poor visibility at night, in fog, or in strong wind conditions.
Do not operate on water-covered or wet grass (electric models are more prone to electric shock).
