Installation method and precautions for chainsaws:

1. Loosen the nut on the chain cover and open the chain cover.

2. Loosen the guide bar bolt and remove the plastic washer.

3. Adjust the screw to bring the tensioner pin close to the sprocket.

4. Install the guide bar on the screw and align the pin hole with the tensioner pin.

5. Install the chain on the sprocket self-tensioning ring and the guide bar groove. Pay special attention to the installation direction of the chain.

6. Install the chain cover and nut, but do not tighten them.

7. Adjust the tensioning screw to tighten the chain.

8. Hold the top of the guide bar and tighten the screw. When pulling the chain by hand, it should move freely.

9. The tight chain should have a few millimeters of clearance. (2-3 millimeters)

10. Pull the brake handle forward to check if the chain brake is powered on.

11. Loosen the nut and open the chain cover.

12. Remove the plastic washer from the guide bar double-ended bolt.

14. Fully tighten the tensioning screw to bring the tensioner pin close to the limit.

15. Insert the guide bar into the guide bar double-ended bolt.

16. Install the chain on the sprocket self-tensioning ring and the guide bar groove. Pay attention to the rotation direction of the chain.

17. Install the chain cover, making sure it is securely fastened and pressing the guide bar. Tighten the chain tensioning screw until the tensioner pin is inserted into the pin hole on the guide bar.

18. Install the corresponding nut for the chain cover, but do not tighten it.

19. Adjust the tensioning screw to tighten the chain.

20. Hold the top of the guide bar and tighten the nut for the chain cover. When pulling the chain by hand, it should move freely.

Precautions: 

1. Please wear safety gloves. The chain is very sharp, and wearing safety gloves can prevent your hands from being scratched.

2. When installing the chain, pay attention to the tightness of the chain. Do not tighten it too much by force or make it too loose. Tightening it too much by force can cause the chain to break, and making it too loose will result in low power of the chainsaw and low work efficiency.

3. Regularly check whether the chain is taut when the chainsaw is running.
